The Economic Development Committee of the NAACP Loudoun Branch would like to share some important information. *Please read this message in its entirety to learn how you can gain access to your fair share.

A Message from Executive Director Buddy Rizer of the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development:
This week, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved an additional $5.7 million for the COVID-19 Business Interruption Fund. The first round of the fund dispersed $1.4 million to more than 200 Loudoun businesses, and the additional funding will raise that number to over 1,000 total businesses. The first step is fully funding the first round of eligible applicants, a list of 475 businesses in the 3-50 employee category. The second step is opening up applications for businesses with 0-2 employees, many of whom were excluded from the initial round. That fund will open between June 3-6, and the full eligibility requirements can be found at In these very difficult times, Loudoun County is dedicated to creating effective solutions for our businesses. If you have any questions about funding and other business resources, please contact any member of our team
