Criminal Justice Forum

Sponsored by the NAACP Arlington Branch. Local experts in the criminal justice field have been assembled to bring their corporate knowledge to the community members in attendance.

The focus of the forum will be related to mental health issues (i.e., arrest, prosecution, and conviction of seriously mentally ill persons), juveniles (i.e., School Resource Officers, school-to-prison pipeline, etc.), the appearance of disproportionate arrests/conviction/incarceration rates among people of color.

Specific questions will be posed to the panel for a response.
After these initial questions are answered by the panel members, the forum will be opened up to the audience for questions related to the aforementioned topics.
